Along with her sister Nina her schooling was in schools in which First Nations and other children of different cultures were included. Isabel is currently living with her family in Byron Bay NSW Australia. Isabel was involved in acting since her elementary primary school years. She took Drama classes at Queensland University of Technology in Queensland, more recently, she was trained in the Perdekamp Emotional Method. Her agent in 2002 discovered that she had not appeared in a production before. She was a part-time auditioner for Home and Away (1988). Although they didn't think she was suitable for this part, the production team was so impressed they created another role for Tasha. She spent 3 years playing her first television role and received the Logie Award (for new popular talents) for her role. In 2008, Isabel was moved from New York to Los Angeles. Her breakthrough came with Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, (2009). Seit then, she's starred on numerous US and Australian projects, and she's received numerous awards. Isabel recently played a part in Bosh & Rockit - Ocean Boy, a film which has quickly become a standard of Australian film. Isabel will also be appearing in the forthcoming thriller Lunacy. Isabel recently completed Sons of Summer, and she is currently in pre-production for the character of Marie Curie for Radiant. The film is directed by the award-winning Annika Glac.
